This is the first

Hello, and welcome to the first post of the Sweetpetunia blog. I hope that you will join me regularly for many adventures in many things. Just a bit about me today. I have a tendency to have too many irons in the fire all of the time, I am a packrat ( this is a habit that I want to break, and an adventure in itsself ), I am trying to organize my life (adventure #2), I homeschool my daughter ( yet another adventure), I love to cook, and sometimes I can do that without the smoke alarm going off. I knit, crochet, sew, garden and generally enjoy the blessings and tallents that I have been given by my creator.

Let me tell you a bit about my family. I have a wonderful husband of almost 28 years, his name is Ted. He is a fantastic and funny guy who loves me and my quirks with all his heart. I have four handsome sons, and a lovely daughter. I also take in strays,(actually, they are just friends of the kids, and just friends) I never know how many people will be staying at my house at any given time. Right now there are only two, and I consider them all family.

Since this is mainly a homeschooling blog, I will be posting many articles on sites that I have used, methods that I have tried and current things that I am doing in the homeschooling of my last child (I am done with the first three and it has been one of the great joys of my life).
